Not only do I want to share my latest work with you, but I also want to use this blog for answering the common questions I get from my clients and other photographers. One thing I get asked a lot is about my bridal portraits.
Q. “How do you get those incredible beauty shots of your brides?” – Karen, Bride
A. One of the most important thing when planning your wedding (besides hiring me as your photographer, jk!) is having a solid timeline. It is important to make time for photos and leave a little wiggle room in case hair and make-up run behind. The last thing you want to do is a “jump and run”. “Jump” into your gown and “run” to the church! Set aside at least 30-45minutes for beauty portraits and pictures with your bridesmaids after you get into your gown. This way you will be able to enjoy your time with the girls and I can capture you looking your absolute best. The more relaxed you are, the more radiant and natural you will look in your photos.
Here are a few beauty shots from Yana’s wedding a few weeks ago. Thanks to Karen for the question and also Yana for working the camera!
